I did even know what happened and had a "wtf?" moment since the Tank just disappeared after I checked right to look out for inbound enemies then looked back when I heard my bumper grinding your tank's back end and he was gone. No cannon shot (That was loud enough to be either of you.) and no explosion to have been a Demolition Attack. Then I looked down and saw a tank husk that wasn't there before..:iGi:.NinjaJedi wrote:ZanderArch was a legend on the 1st map, that little jeep saved me and fresh 5 times at least. + he helps us push that tank off a cliff (major lol)

You people should have heard our TS channel near the end of that round. I believe I said something along the lines of "it would be easier to call out what's NOT coming instead" after spotting tanks, infantry, the APC, the ubiquitous supply car (did you have just one, or did you actually have about 50 of them, as it seemed), a helicopter, sharks with laser beams, snakes, etc, all over the damn place, and trying to hide behind a little bump so that the tank's coax doesn't make a head shorter.

Just mine, we had two in the beginning, my Squad Leader and Me were following the cover fire element of our Tank Squad while they were on overwatch for who ever was capturing the Oil CP (Bottom left, forgot the name of it.) Then he got team killed (Think he walked in front of Vikingo's coax machine gun.) in the first five minutes and I was the only one until the end.daranz wrote:(did you have just one, or did you actually have about 50 of them, as it seemed)
Feels good to know I was good enough to make the enemy think there were more than just me

Hrm. I never heard you honk your horn. What I did see was your damn car next to every tank out there. It was basically "I see a tank on the ridge to the south, there's a supply truck behind him!" and 30 seconds later "I see 3 tanks on the ridge to the east, one is resupplying!"ZanderArch wrote:Just mine, we had two in the beginning, my Squad Leader and Me were following the cover fire element of our Tank Squad while they were on overwatch for who ever was capturing the Oil CP (Bottom left, forgot the name of it.) Whenever I saw a tank, there was the supply vehicle... Hm, maybe you should resupply the tanks further away from the enemy.

Yeah, I've got my zoom on and see a pair of legs covering my screen.ZanderArch wrote:Then he got team killed (Think he walked in front of Vikingo's coax machine gun.) in the first five minutes and I was the only one until the end.
WTF was he doing on the Tank? I think he did it on purpose, just so I could get a TK.

If you are reading this dont stop, cause if you do, I'll kick you in the balls.

I think he was climbing on top of your tank for a better spotting view, he had his binoculars in his hands when I saw him before he died, I just climbed on top of my Supply Truck to Spot for you guys.El_Vikingo wrote:WTF was he doing on the Tank? Pfsh! Resupply off the front lines?! Why I NEVER! Only damage I took was the outer blast radius of AT weapons aimed at the tanks I was supplying and some rifle fire from some poor sap that didn't have the cover to hide from a tank so decided to got out fighting and try to take me down.
My two deaths were from the last men standing that were in the Village, someone shot me out of my Truck then AT'd my ride, then I got shot rushing into the open like an idiot. All in all, I think my Supply Truck was in no danger on the front lines, especially with a couple tons of steel with an iGi Crewman in it between me and the bullets.

Well, wasnt that bad, I survived a T90 attack twice on Kufrah, but first time, I ran like nuts from Facility (after our tanks got blown clean away and infantry was moving in) then SL decideds to extract me with the LB, which is being chased by the MEC heli and we both die...when I could just continue walking...geez
Next time was when we got ambushed at the bridge from North side, I was the only who survived, when I went hiding behind the car husk
Then I placed an AT mine on the road (not sure if anyone drove over it) and decided to go put C4 on the T90. But just as I got close, the T90 takes a break and immediately spots me !!
I just lied there, watched the turret then a burst and I was gone...ffs

Agreed, great example of teamwork there.Bobert08 wrote:Props to Ninja Jedi for his quick transportation of five Squad 4 members, and only two at a time.
We capped Oil Storage in a jiffy thanks to him.
Though I do have a suggestion for the next teamwork night.
Why were the separate Teamspeak channels for squads when there already is VOIP? I think having just one channel for squad leaders and the commander would have been better as that would facilitate communication between squads and the commander. Two more channels for an armor squad (since, on maps like Kufrah and Kahan, there is too much armor in the field to fit in one squad) and another channel for everyone else on the team.
2 cents on that.
I was fun though in the infantry squad with Gazz and the rest, looking forward to the next one, hopefully with full teams

Hahaha that nade spam was hilarious. We all just hid in the concrete bunkers and the odd idiot ran out and got taken out...
I had C4'd the place up and I was desperate for the Brits to come and find us!!!
Teamwork night 5 will see the iGi split up 50 50 and we'll take charge of squads to give you an idea of how we perform for real in a game.
It'll be sexy... well, my squad at least
