Hey i like that but look at some of the new usa gun for the special forces http://world.guns.ru/assault/as70-e.htm
Also this assault rifle beast! http://world.guns.ru/assault/as40-e.htm
i saw a show like 2 years ago about that assault rifle. The back clip shoots gernades very far and it dosent explode on contact. Like 5 sec after contact so you can shoot it threw windows. It also has a scope and laser and guide bullets but thats like impossable to put in bf2.

Well, the UK has not adopted the AS50. As of now, they use the Barrett M82 and the Accuracy International AW50F. Haven't heard Ministry of Defence "L" designations for them, yet. AS50 is being eval'ed by USN Special Warfare (SEALs), though.YoJimbO wrote:Holy sh*t, a new British .50 Cal in the works!!

Yes, the XM29 OICW has been cancelled, as has the XM8. So, it looks like Ghost Recon was wrong both times.

Read what [R-DEV]Eddie Baker posted, they're not in use yet, so no, not yet anyway.Heydude235 wrote:Well can we get the sniper in?
Yeah I read that too, I was just hoping that someone on the dev team had heard/experienced otherwise. All the same, perhaps in a distant update ay? lol, keep up the good work guys.'[R-DEV wrote:Eddie Baker']Well, the UK has not adopted the AS50. Why not eh? Was a great rifle for us during the Falklands, and I think the Canadians still use it. Anyway, older rifles (proper rifles, ala bolt actions) tend to be much better than semi-auto stuff anyway even now, why do you think most sniper rifles are bolt action? Oh and the old Lee Enfield is STILL an amazing marksman rifle, it's one of (if not the) most accurate bolt action rifles ever produced. Some countries still use them as sniper rifles, we don't because we discontinued manufacture and it's not a good thing to use something that is no longer made, as it's a ****** on getting replacement parts, like the US is finding out with the reintroduction of the M14 (I think they sold production rights to some foreign company or something).
