[Weapon] Colt M733 [WIP]

Post by KP »

Since everyone else seem to be showing off their WIPs these days, and I feel a need to show off and spam, here's one of mine:

Still needs front and rear sights, as well as some work on the carrying handle.

Sweet dude...
Your models get better each day... The detail on the buttstock will look amazing once it gets texturized :D

*compared to Kura* (the replica M733 in my hands at this moment) Looks good. Cant wait to see her textured up.

Any plans for her to be ingame?

And dude. This and the other thing. Its like you're devoted to making models of my favorate guns! :p
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Anything that needs to be fixed up, compared to Kura?

You're just lucky Taiwan uses your favourite guns. The '733 is used by Taiwanese Special Forces, so maybe...

The only things that stand out are the lack of a bayonet lug and sling point under the front sight assembly and the range adjustment dial for the rear sight. This is of course assuming that its supposed to be a late model M733 (A2 reciver rather than the A1/A2 hybrid type of the early ones), which is what mine is modeled after.

I'll take a couple of pics and PM them over to you.

Heh, the model isn't finished yet. I'll make sure those details get in.

I'm afraid so. Maybe I'll have to make a Bob Marley mod...

Lol, so true. I'll just have to make my map a good one then. I'm kinda hoping more mappers will pick up the Taiwan project after our first release because, well, I don't know if I have time to make another map. Plus, all the stuff will be modelled and coded. One thing's for sure, I'm not going to make another urban map, it's very time consuming. So maybe Bob will be able to play with the M733 in the future.
