My Theoretical Wish: 128 players a reality with possible new patch
Ok with EA releasing the mew map, it's possible they maybe planning to inculde the map with a patch. What i'm thinking is, since the guys are struggling to make 128 players a reality and this could even be impossible, why don't we all spam the official forums and try and get them to include increased player counts with the new patch.
I remember when BF2 was announced they were planning on 128 players, but i guess they removed this when they saw how intensive BF2 was with 64 players (probably due to poor coding). Anyway PC's have moved on now and alot of machine will be able to handle 128 players, and maybe Dice have the code done already from there testing when the game was still in beta.
If we at least let EA/Dice know we would love 128 players who knows maybe they'd make it possible.
I know this is along shot but 128 player PR is a dream worth fighting for damn it.

Compared to many other games, 64 players is quite a lot.Scarlet_Pimp wrote:, but i guess they removed this when they saw how intensive BF2 was with 64 players (probably due to poor coding).
You said that 128 is a possible with the new patch in the title, and then you tell me to spam their forums?

If you are reading this dont stop, cause if you do, I'll kick you in the balls.

We are talking about DICE, EA Just owns and markets it.DarkTalon wrote:keep in mind we are talking about EA, don't expect too much.
Blame Dice for not fixing it. Their game is out, BF2, its very popular. It works on the right systems and it is fun. There are no huge bugs that many get or make the game unplayable for anything above a hundred guys.
They are done with the game, People should just leave them alone so they can move on to the next bf series game.
Im sure DICE developers are happy, its just that people think they deserve more support. Honestly I wouldn't help guys who for 2 years ***** and whine about a good game & product saying it is shit....
Talk personally to a DICE guy, he might help you out or not. But besides that we just need to enjoy the game we got.
Sorry, just needed to get that out.

what's the point in having 128 players on 1 map? if you play vanilla style where everyone rushes for the same flag then sure you will see a lot of people. if you play pr-style you might encounter 1 or 2 squads plus some vehicles, everyone else is either defending capped flags, ambushing enemy resupply, etc. so all there is to it, really, is just knowing that there are a lot more people around. and then that's just the same as on 50-64 player maps.
i find the best games on less than full servers, maybe 30ish or so, where people have more of a need to be organised to win anything. on 64 player maps there is too much chaotic running about as it is, just like vanilla.
on the other hand if someone would set up a tournament with disciplined troopers, commanders, sl, then it might be cool as a challenge on command-level organising the whole lot i suppose.
128 player maps on public servers would simply be horrible, imo.
i'd say if anyone wants to spend time to develop pr in one way or another he'd be doing more good organizing squad trainings or little tournaments rather than spaming ea forums or building maps of that size (not saying i wouldn't try it out, of course).
anyway, just my ideas

You have a better chance of winning the lottery
I would add to that..... by finding the winning ticket in a pile of dogsh t.
But Kashan with 128 players would be absolutely stupendous.
