Will the U.S. Army be featured in Project Reality?
Will there be any maps that will feature a small group of spec ops against a larger enemy force, for example: U.S. Marine Force Recon vs. People's Liberation Army.
I'll post my other questions later... I can't seem to think of them at the moment

Yes. We intend to have nation/state factions represented by different branches of service, divisions/regiments, etc. on different maps.Zodiac wrote:Will the U.S. Army be featured in Project Reality?
Not sure how asymetric numbers can be forced when anyone can respawn until the round ends, but I'm not a coder. A special operations unit or task force may represent one faction on a map.Zodiac wrote:Will there be any maps that will feature a small group of spec ops against a larger enemy force, for example: U.S. Marine Force Recon vs. People's Liberation Army.

Now that is pretty easy in theory: you just need to have a custom autobalance which will enforce team ratio that is different from 1. I think some servers did that for omaha beach in forgotten hope, to account for the fact that you needed more allies to take the beach...'[R-DEV wrote:Eddie Baker']

How easily that will be implemented in BF2 is left as an exercise to the modders (honestly I have no idea
