Medium - High, turn your textures and light/shadow to medium and the rest should be fine on high with about 4 x AA/AF, i reckon.

Yeah I would think medium settings with some on high @1024x768.

I have a noob question that I couldn't find the answer to in the FAQ's - As a Squad Leader, the only places to get the Officer kit is at the home spawn base and at other SQ Leader respawn points? And are there certain maps that don't allow you to request the Officer kit at SQ Leader respawn points? Thanks.

You can request from an APC and supply drop too.

I have a question - when I change my Graphics settings in PR and hit Apply, it changes my AA setting, which is usually at 4x, to Off. No matter what, it always switches it to Off. What gives?

Medium high?
Are you kidding me; on my craptastic X1600 512MB, and 2GB 667MHz of RAM I could play PR @1024x768 with everything on high (I bring textures to medium, cause of Vista), and AA on x6. I get somewhere around 40-60FPS. So I'm reckon you can do much better what that card than Medium high.

Do you have AA Forced off in the Nvidia control panel? Ati Control panel?

I don't know too much about the 8500 cards. I know that the 8600's didn't live up to the expectations, they were not posting great numbers. The 8500 is a low end card so it may not be able to play at the high settings. I would download fraps, let it run and start playing around with the settings. Some of the settings in game such as dynamic lighting and dynamic shadows have a big performance hit on high compared to medium. The gain in visual eye candy is minimal so I would stick with med. BF2 benefits from AA more then some of the in game settings. Again I would play around a bit until you find what works for you, I prefer running on the ragged edge of eye candy where I get slow down in 5% of situations, some people wouldn't stand for that.
