For some obscure reason I tend to have a visceral hatred for people who can actually run Itunes AND play PR with a good framerate as just playing PR is often enough to send me to the low 15 fps zone

sorry. if it makes you feel any better, sometimes ill have itunes playing music on the level load, but then once the map loads, the sound gets all outta whack and i have to restart bf2 to get it right again... so i just alt tab out and turn it on once the map starts (takes like a second so thats cool)

No music for me because

(a) It makes it harder to hear people talking on VoIP
(b) It makes it harder to hear footsteps or distant gunfire
(c) It reduces my framerate.

Can't play Quake 3 without music though.
