Toggling between iron sights...
...and the various scopes on each gun sometime in the future?
Man it sounds like this has been discussed here before, but I can't seem to find it and I don't remember a definate answer. I apologize for wasting your time if this has already been hashed through!
As a grunt I would feel so much more efficient depending on the situation(CQB or at range) with all of these *new* scoped rifles coming out in the future. Being confined to a specific view really narrows the grunts effectiveness in CQ assaults.
Thanks!

When you are alive.you mean being able to swich shights when you spawn or when your alive?
For example when you right click to use the scope on your rifleman kit, that's the only view you get. This is troublesome when you are assaulting a flag where you have a pretty good idea there will be enemy troops in close quarters. The scope limits your field of vision!
I'm looking for the stability of iron sights in CQ, while retaining the use of the rifleman scope if I get in a longer range fire fight. With the rifleman kit you are very limited with your field of vision when you turn a corner with your scope up so you have nice tight shot placement.
It would be nice to click that scope to the side and use the iron sights when the fight gets up close and personal!

I suggested a similar thing a while ago, I agree, you should be able to use the backup sight in CQB. It could work the same way sniper zoom works, one click back-up, two clicks optics.

Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

I'm not sure I understand your tip here HellDuke. That would be a good idea, but then again, take the antipersonel the rifleman scope doesn't zoom (a 4x zoom on brits??? the sniper rifles are a 4x... those are more of a 2x) and only limits your view. And in reality i don't think you'd be using those iron sights in CQB. Do as you would do in real life: aim aproximately (<-how is this word spelled anyway?) and fire. You don't normaly have time to aim because your enemy will probably do what i said and where are you going to run or hide behind? It's CQB, your up close, so close that you need ~2 seconds to sprint up to your enemy. Or if you desperately need to aim down your sights for a safe felling do as instructed before, but before firing just aim down the sights.
My wish is that the iron sight would be an option on all of the rifles that have them, regardless if they have a 2x, 4x, 50x scope or not.
It's frustrating to clear a corner of a building and lose the initiative on an enemy soldier because you couldn't see him in scoped view. I almost never fire my rifle "from the hip"(or without sighting down the rifle), as this is completely unrealistic in my view.
All I want to do is flip to iron sights before I turn that corner, clear it for my squad/fireteam, then flip the scope back up.
