I know this may seem a bit early to complain but when is the last time a real life Insurgent would use a Russian WW2 bolt action rifle as his main gun? Or for that matter a old outa date PPSH41???? I think the mod team needs to brush up a little bit more on what real life insurgents are useing these days.
The only way a Mosin Nagant would work in game is if it's a sniper rifle. And the PPSH is so old nobody uses them anymore. If the devs think this is the kind of stuff real life insurgents carry into battle they need to go back to shool. They use more modern guns like the AK-47, AKS-74, AK-74, Type-56, RPK-47, RPK-74, PKM, SVD and RPGs. Nobody in their right mind would waste cash on some crappy WW2 gun that it's almost imposable to find ammo for. Go watch the military channel and read some real world news. These guys pack some guns with punch not crappy WW2 junk. They buy easy to mantain and use weapons a WW2 SMG like the PPSH is alot harder to maintian than a AK-47 that only has 3 parts to clean. AKA PPSH has 10 or more. Plus a AK-47 will last forever and ammo for it is easy to find and use. You can take a AK-47 into battle and not clean it for a month and it will still shoot. Try that with something like a PPSH and your going to have it jam, or blow up in your face.
The Mosin Nagant showen in the preview videos is not only outa service with everybody on the planet but is also a weapon that last saw action in Veitnam as an short range AA gun along with Muskets and other things. It was also used a a Sniper rifle for a short time till they got it replaced with the much better SVD. I have no soruces to back up my claims but please think about what your doing to the mod before you impose new standard guns for the hit and run style gameplay the Insurgents have right now. Haveing to lie down and shoot a bolt action weapon all the time is going to make combat for the Insurgents insanely slow, and unless it's a one shot kill nobody is going to use it or wan't to play a map where the main gun is not a fully automatic weapon. The M16 can get away with it because it's semi-atuomatic and burst fire. Thats not possable with a bolt weapon.
Please note: This is not a rant, just a heads up to realy test this out hard in the mod before you got through with these changes to the Insurgent weapons kits. I took note in the Beta a lack of intrest in the Insurgent maps, and also lots of complaints that the Insrugents are now totaly out classed by the British and US. I know this may be the way it is in real life but it's not a good idea from a gameplay stand point. Please consider my opinion and if I am miss informed about anything feel free to correct me.

Even a simple search at a crappy site like Wikipedia.org would provide you with the info needed not to post an ignorant thread like this:
What do you think the 41 in the model PPSh-41 stands for? It was brought to service in 1941; the AK-47 used by rebels and insurgents all around the world was designed in 1947, 6 years after PPSh-41.
During the Cold War period, Middle Eastern countries under the sphere of Soviet influence—Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Palestinian guerilla factions—received Mosins in addition to other more modern arms.
The Mosin-Nagant is currently being used by forces in the Iraq War and the current war in Afghanistan. They have also been used by Chechen rebels in Chechnya alongside other modern Russian firearms in the ongoing war there.
???old outa date PPSH41
