(disclaimer: I'm one of the biggest h-at whore in the universe, top score 70:0 to date)
H-AT and L-AT could really benefit from a drastic splash damage reduction. This way they would mostly be used for their intended use (engagement of vehicles). The current H-AT can be used as an uber-sniper which tends to degrade gameplay (for the other team that is
kudos to Clavdivs for aiding and abetting by the way!

the SRAW PREDATOR is fire n' forget , but is no longer produced , the one in PR should be the SRAW MPV , witch is used as a bunker buster and anti light armor , and it isnt fire n' forget .daranz wrote:My point about the SRAW is that in real life it IS a fire and forget weapon that locks on targets. It's inaccurately portrayed as SACLOS for balance reasons.
and why nobody say "SHTORA-1"??

Er, AFAIK, it isn't SACLOS either. According to globalsecurity it is fire-and-forget. According to this article they're not making them any more at all.77SiCaRiO77 wrote:the SRAW PREDATOR is fire n' forget , but is no longer produced , the one in PR should be the SRAW MPV , witch is used as a bunker buster and anti light armor , and it isnt fire n' forget .
Also, it wouldn't make much sense for the SRAW in game to be of the -MPV variant. On Basra - maybe, but while the Predator wasn't designed for the kind of warfare we see today in Iraq, it WAS designed for the kind of warfare we see in PR on non-insurgency maps. It would also make more sense that way as a counterpart to the ERYX.
I guess the main problem is that the SRAW doesn't seem to be very widespread in the USMC. I guess these days they don't really need to spend too much money on AT equipment for infantry, and if infantry does need to perform AT roles, there's the Javelin, which is superior to the SRAW

I saw that video before... And yes, they say it's guided (you track it for two seconds before launch).77SiCaRiO77 wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Xge_KAxM9E
