On the upside, maybe we'll finally get people switching over to the Chinese team on USMC/PLA maps instead of the other way around :P

It could give us some more insite into PLA equipment and tactics. As of right now I know there is one member on here from that region (sorry don't remember name) who has a good deal of knowledge, a few more members could only help.

Whether they are allowed to supply latest imagery of unifroms, weapons and equipment is another thing though. We don't want to actively encourage someone to get a camera/camcorder out and fall foul of local laws and end up in prison.

I think that in general the PLA have been represented fairly in the game though and wouldn't think their government would have anything to complain about. Maybe now they'll be checking player stats to see just how many times the PLA forces won their rounds and how realistic that is, to them :)

True, I didn't think about the ramifications of providing PLA info. Maybe we could ask Kim Jong Yeal (sp?) if he doesn't mind?

Kim Jong-Il ain't exactly Chinese...

And if there's anything getting out, China can always just block the entire BF2 with their great firewall.

Yahoo's shareholders just voted against the company providing restricted services in China. Democracy rules!

And their family would be billed for the bullet that killed him.
Lovely people, the Communists.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

Oh, the Chinese eh? That'll be interesting. Does BF2 even support Mandarin text? Some great conversations will be had over VOIP:

"Ching-chong ka min awwww"
"No, DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH? DU SPRECKEN DIE ENGLISH? ENGLISH! Dammit!"

But seriously, it'll be good for us and for the mod. Viva les chinoise!
