Night maps in new beta!?

Hey so I haven't been a big part of the beta testing as I'm waiting for 606. But I saw a video on youtube with nightmaps and NVG's....also I saw the NVG's in the change log with a :wink: Whats up with these...are they going to be in the final release?

He said he didn't tried the beta yet because he is waiting for .606 so he can't know :wink:

Yeah Bi Ming was in .604 and .605; sadly no server seems to play them when I'm around, and judging by scoreboards, quickly change map when they do actually run it.

It's a real challenge playing the night maps, in a good way. What I like is that the level of darness is so dark that you can't afford to play without the NVG. I have played other maps and games that do the night maps but there are usually spots where you don't need the NVG or you can see better without them, not so on Bi Ming 8-) :D

Yeah, you're ****ed without NVG. It's a cool map to play when you've got a good squad, and a SL who keeps you together.

Night maps are great fun, it always seems like 1/3 of the enemy team doesnt use night goggles and just runs into my fire... :lol:

Thats not totaly true I always wear the NVG, I'm just attracted to the tracer rounds :wink:

Bi ming on low settings is a killer for my eyes I usually have to drop out at that point because no dynamic lighting and low FPS make it unplayable though when I Can play it it's really fun and immersive
