Mkay, I'm in the general area of where you have told me to go. The downed chopper isnt where it is, but its near there... Do you have a slightly zoomed in picture?

The m95 is my first goal, I have no clue how to find either. A good thing that the dysin guy gave me a good map direction to head in, but why dont you give me a clue where to find this m82.
If you want the cal.50 sniper on al Basrah ( 0.5 version ) you can find in one small building at the airport parking lot (apc, tank spawn)

If you want the Open beta 0.6 dual uzi easter egg.. try searching on kashan desert map... near some bunkers. Thats all I can say.. good luck..

I've used the M95 on .5 Greasy Mullet to some good effect against humvees.

I think the fact that this thread is up to this many pages just brings to the surface the deep down latent sniper in all of us. We may deny it, we may play PR how it should be but in the middle of the night when were all alone with are thoughts laying naked on the batheroom floor wimpering thinking "dude I so want to lone wolf with the .50 cal but I know it's wrong..." :p

So your still in denial, you can't supress your inner 1337'nis for ever. It's just not healthy.

I agree with you though, every time I see some one grab a sniper kit and head for the hills I cringe. There are some good snipers but they are rare.

I havent sniped in PR yet, I've gotten ahold of a marksmen kit, but as far as sniping I haven even used the marksmen kit. I did what I was asked. I scouted and never took one shot. This complete n00b that ended up getting ahold of it after I died, shot randomly thinking that it was like the dragunov and could kill a load of people up close. The only time I ever INTENTIONALY tked some one.

I'm a good sniper, In bf2 I would call out the targets if I knew they were there but couldnt do a thing about it. Call in for supplies in certain areas where my squad could use it. Shoot some guy trying to knife my squad members(I loved that beautiful shot!)

Oh and yea, the m95 on basra in 0.5 is useless..
How could an M95 ever be useless? The thing is an antimaterial rifle. Its designed to take out cars, lightly armored vehicals! I went to the biggest gun lovers gathering in kentucky to see one just fire at dirt and torn up cars! I talked to a guy who had a sniper rifle that was 6ft 8 inches, and fired 20mm bullets. He also had .50 sniper rifle BMG's that were less than 15 pounds each!

http://www.anzioironworks.com Go here to see the 20mm sniper rifle he has on sale.

I was lucky enough as teenager to see a M95 used at a range. The sound of it was so sweet, such a big bassy boom  It sure did kick up some dirt as well.

Oh man! I loved that!
Out of every gun there firing, the .50 was able to be heared the best because of its boom. It was kind of raining that day and man it hit one of the cars and I saw this, it was using an incindiary round, it hit the car and the car burst into flames.

go to youtube and look up Knob creek machinegun shoot 2007 It was cold and it was wet, but it was fun as hell!

Ack! I cant find the M95 on the lan server I made to search for it! I capped the flags around it, and no with the sv.numplayersneededtostart 1 thing it doesnt not take a long time to cap, and couldnt find it. I know its near that downed chopper, but cant find it.

Downed chopper? What map are you looking on, exactly? Stop looking already! You're going to waste away your valuable PR playing time looking for some stupid M95?! Besides, I don't think most of us have even used it yet without editing any files to get it ;-) ... I haven't seen any screenshots of the 0.6 open beta M95 yet.

Quai river. I got a picture of where it is, but cannot find it. And I can really play any time I wanna so it doesnt really matter.

Hardtman wrote:I think i won't be stoned if I tell you that one is placed somewhere in Al Basrah( as of .5)

But I won't tell you, just search for it. It is really obvious, trust me.

As soon as you find it you'll be "Oh darn,it's THIS obvious and i never found it!".

Just look for yourself ;P
And you... You're not very nice... No mountains in Al Basrah...

I searched the entire map, quick sweep with the wart hog, then a slower sweep in the black hawk, then I took a humvee around for a while. Al basrah is flat.
