Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch, liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.

Some Singleplayer mods like NAW and Allied Intent have a "battlehawk" cept its not that good.jackal22 wrote:i thought editing dice models was impossible?
The bird has different nicknames as different roles as for Army's "Blackhawk", Navy's "Seahawk", and Airforce's "PaveHawk". The Marines do not have a blackhawk which i think in PR could be replaced with huey. DICE made a bad model/skin of the Black/Sea Hawk, and the miniguns are also unrealistic as only the 160th SOAR use miniguns.
USI made a sexy skin for a Blackhawk

A Blackhawk is used by the Army. Blackhawks also dont have miniguns except for the 160th. I think the PR team is plan to have a huey for marines.

Been discussed before, folks. Please do a search.
The Marines do not operate the MH-60S Knighthawk, and have made it clear for the past couple of decades that they do not want the H-60 for the combat utility role, hence the development of the UH-1Y. The only Blackhawk/H-60 variant the Marines operate is the VH-60N for presidential and other VIP transport. But as said before, they will hitch rides with USAF Pavehawks, US Army Blackhawks and US Navy Seahawks/Knighthawks, and have done so quite often. The uniforms may be different but they're all on the same team.
Miniguns are not used on helicopters only by the 160th, but they are rare in the regular Army aviation units. USAF uses them on their Pavehawks and Pave Lows and the Marines and Navy have them in inventory as well.
