Tweak extraction.

I think extraction could be a lot funner if the tickets were bumped up. I think it would be ideal to get rid of the tickets all together, and just have a time limit.

For example,

US has 30 minutes to extract the pilot, no ticket limit (or a VERY high ticket limit). If 30 minutes goes by, terrorist wins.

If the ticket system is hardcoded, you could give the US like 5000 tickets and the insurgents like 10,000 tickets. Then no matter what, the terrorist will win after 30 minutes.

The thing about the tickets is (if I am not mistaken) that they encourage the extracting team to protect the VIP at all costs. If the death of the VIP would not cause a massive ticket loss then the extrating team could just try making a run for it all the time and just hope they make it through.

When a big penalty is associated with the VIP's death this makes the extraction team use more planning and careful execution. It also feels more realistic this way. You can't just say "Oh... he died again... well let's just try it again till it works..."

could the VIP pilot kit remove the users health when picked up, that way it simulates a pilot having some injuries after crashing and if hes bleeding when the extraction team picks him up it cannot be a lone wolf so for example.
1337sniper arrives at crash site alone, picks up kit.
1337sniper starts to bleed
1337sniper dies after a minute

Squad approaches crash site
Squad secures crash site while squad member B picks up pilot kit
Squad member B starts to bleed, calls for medic
Medic falls back from defensive position to heal pilot
Squad moves out.

i'd like to see someone hop out of a crashed merlin do a backflip and sprint a kilometer back to their base. and then do 50 pushups.

So give the US / GB team 5000 tickets and make the VIP worth 1000 tickets. That way you 5 chances to get the VIP out.

I'm sure the ticket limit is 999/999 for both teams...

There's a reason why tickets are present in xtract. If those are removed and only a time limit placed instead, the escort team will turn reckless, and will not do the job propertly. The tickets allow the gamemode to penalize the escort team every time they get the VIP killed.

In short, this is a no.
