Yes! Now make the map and an entirely new Argentinian faction to go with your idea (along with Brits who have uniforms, weapons and equipment accuracte to 1982).

This is also a repost.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
