Post by gerardnm »

Guys am wondering what my system specs are (I'm no good with computers)

Could someone explain?

XPS M1710 Core 2 Duo Processor T7400 (2.16 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB) 1
N09XPS6 - XPS M1710 Better
Microsoft Vista Capable Logo Label 1
2048MB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024) 1
120GB (5,400 rpm) SATA Hard Drive
XPS 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX
Is this ok for the new release?

Much appreciated..sorry for the noob ness.

I have no idea about computers and mine is quite old but I guess i can surely say: did 0.5 work fine, 0.6 will, despite longer viewdistance, destructible stuff and so on.
no idea how the DEVs managed this. but hell they did!

yes, that system would have no problems playing everything on high and maybe a little more in respect of AA/AF settings.

Yeah..I have a somewhat similar setup (some components are better and some are worse) and I run the game with everything on high and with a custom resolution of 1920x1200. I love my big screen moniter.

after reading your specs a little more thoroughly i can tell you are using a laptop correct? the 5400 rpm hard drive and the geforce go 7900 were dead giveaways. so for a laptop this is pretty badass you should have no problems playing PR in fact your laptop is about on the level of my desktop and i have everything set to high and i have zero problems.

That's right...good spot XPS.
