Muzzleflash effect

I'd like a small muzzle flash to be put back in, especially for the shorter weapons like the M4 and AKS74U. Have you seen the muzzle flash the AKS74U puts out? It's insane.

Aye, but I'm not sure if muzzle flashes has to be added either to all weapons or no weapons.

Anyway, this suggestion is about the fact that in BF2 the dynamic lighting still shows even though tere are no muzzle flashes.

its been discussed many times before, muzzle flash in real life is very toned down from what you see in game, and you don't really see it very time you fire, IIRC the devs where looking into changing them but ran into some problems with it.

but i leave it open for now as other members with better memories can explain it better than i can.

well the video u showed was in a low light situation were the muzzle flash is more likely to be seen and it was a very light muzzle flash at that.
