Recon Kit
Not sure it's been suggested yet but anyway...
Perhaps adding a Recon kit, moreover a "Spotter" kit, given in v0.6, Sniper rifles effective range has been greatly increased to like 0-600m, the use of a spotter is more than useful. Spotters for snipers is very commonly used in modern warfare today, and is more than able to be useful in PR. Having a spec ops or any kit in general in a grassy terrain will stick out like a sore thumb compared to that of a sniper.
Not much to add, Since spotting enemies at distances followed by a kill is already working with the PR scoring system.
Kit would preferably be...
-Ghillie suit
-Basic CQB Assault rifle
-SOFLAM, the soflam gives out distances(in meters) which is very useful.
-Generic smoke
-No body armor
-Pistol (Optional)
-(anything someone could improvise and brain storm that would be more realistic or useful to add)
-Just have the kit limitations ratio set to exactly that of the sniper kits.
Anyhow it was just a thought, I spot very often with spec ops kit, providing targets and communication with others, just until a sniper sees me with ease.
Feedback and brainstorming much appreciated.

well no slams, and the suit make a big difference, but i would rather give him the regular AR with optics with not to much munition and of cause no pistol, that would be really cool, perhaps also add a 2. wound package and make this kit an kind of alternativ SL kit, so that Sniper squads have an fitting SL that can place Rally Poins

I agree with most of this stuff apart from having 4 mags for the carbine and being able to set rallys. The whole point of the sniper is that he's not really supposed to have a front line as such and would remove half the sneaking from the role. That's just my opinion though.
Another thing is that I think the spotter should have plenty of ammo cos essentially in a worst case situation he has to defend 2 people since the sniper only has a pistol.
I'd also debate whether they should have a grappling hook or not but that's all dependant on whether they'd have this kind of equipment.
