[Question] 3DS Max 9 Plugin?

How do I get a 3DS MAX 9 plugin working? I'm trying to get a poly cruncher I downloaded working but I cant get it to open in 3ds max :(

I installed it to

Autodesk > 3ds max 9 > stdplugs

Anyone help me :D ?

theres 3ds max 9? I just downloaded 7 yesterday. Am I using the older version or is that the one you have to pay for?
