Thanks for the explanation, Sofad!
What I still do not understand, though, is why you created custom sounds - they are custom, right? Or did you simply edit the original files?
I just liked the originals better. It is of course not a big problem, though. It just puzzles me why you would take time to create new sounds.

but if you speak about the radio chatter..
well, i changed the original radio files long time ago from the very clean and mass-market radio chatter files to some more dirty and noisy, more to reality sounding, voiceovers.
roles that use the radio ingame, sql and com, still use these original improved radio voices like they are since 0.4 (or 0.3??
the second thing was complete custom british grunt voiceovers, clean and radioed voice.
for 0.6 i did in addition a volume boost for all clear voicefiles that we use much more now in 0.6.
so, wich sounds do you like exactly in original better?

well, i dont know how are the military radios , but 3 years ago I was in a patrol car from the police, and i hear the radio , thats was pretty undertandable , even with the sorrounding sounds , but in PR they are very undestandable and "low" (and is way worse if you are in the MEC or PLA).
maybe some edit for the next version?

Is that a future medic in the making? I think we need a female medic model (meaning in-game player character) in PR, and then use a sexy voicesolodude23 wrote:Plus I play the 2142 Demo cause my girlfriend likes it and they have the same/similar language. Shut up. I am slowly converting her to PR. In fact I made her come over and play today at my house..hehe.

that would result in no autospot anymore..kristofer wrote:Next step: taking out the remote scouting by spamming enemy spotted everywhere![]()
you then have to select manually via RMB the type of enemy you have spottet, and the minimap icon will stay on the minimap and dont move with the enemys real position anymore.. (and it will stay where are you aiming at, regardless if you real "hit" the enemy with your spotting)
