Gun Jamming

Post by xseeyax »

I know this has probably been suggested before but oh well. Now I have to good reasons for this. One because it would just be more realistic :p and two I think it would help eliminate the dolphin diving. Since there is noobs who just hit the deck and shoot like their finger was tied to the trigger.

Wouldnt it be better if they dove down it would jam their gun because of dirt, dust, whatever? Maybe not everytime or not just when they are prone, like all of the diving could lead up to the gun jamming, like one or two dives and on the third the gun just jams, or maybe it jams a couple minutes after the dive just for a penalty.

Now you might ask then how would you ever go prone? It would be simple if you would have to crouch for like a sec or two then go down to represent that you are not diving and digging your gun into the ground or maybe it would be triggered by running but that would just make them stop short then dolphin lay down lol. Since a lot of close gun battles last a couple of seconds on pr I think it would be better to make it crouch for some amount of seconds then lay down. It would be tight if the jamming would last for a couple of minutes too becasue it would represent the soldier actually taking it apart and cleaning it. None of this might not be possible but please respond. Thanks

EDIT:Maybe to go prone without jammin your gun you would have to back up a step or two or because if someone went into a gun fight and try to go prone like that against you they would get lit up
