Jolt servers

Hi all,

I have a un-ranked server from jolt and no matter wot i do the server f***s up i've try'd re-installing the mod over and over but it says not the right mod, even tho i downloaded it from here.

i then put a ticket in the forums saying its furbar and all it doe's is go into a stop/start loop, a few days ago they put the mod back on but it says " you do not have the mod that is running on this server" , when i asked wot mod it was they said its v601? , i then said its v607 i want, the answer was ye ye thats the one.

Now i only went to jolt coz i was told they were the best in england
( bulls**t ) and i have had nothing but problems, so is it me or has anyone else had this from them.

there pyshical servers are pretty good, but they used to have issues with there pub admins and support, best bet maybe hop on there irc and try and track down someone there and explain and ask, if not kick up a stink on there servers it used to work in the past

Well i kicked up a stink and said i wanted my money back, and i got a kind F*** you really lol. i never read the small print ( they dont do money back )
but i got my Ranked server back for normal bf2 so its not all bad, i'll just have to use other servers for PR and hope there not all dumbass's on there.

The 'you do not have the mod...' could well be that you actually don't.

Remember that 0.5 and the 0.6 beta install as separate mods, so if you asked for 0.6 to be installed, you won't recognise it if you have the current version we have on the download page (0.5) installed. I've generally not had any problems with jolt, although I've never rented a server from them.

No, you don't. Just making sure that you had the same version as you were trying to put on the server. Sorry, wasn't particularly clear in what I said...

Oh ok, yes i put pr_v607rc1 and they put prmm . the only other mods on there was bf2 and xpack.

i've now got my ranked server back so i need to find a really good server provider that knows everything about this mod and is in england.

pr_v607rc1 is the Beta,
0.5 is the full release.
