Ts

Post by Happy »

I noticed about 25 people playing and only two people on ts. Ts is there for a reason, it helps teamplay alot. So why don't we all get on ts and play.

Personally, In-game i like to use VOIP...

Teamspeak has a lag to it that makes it pointless. Its like, you see your teammate has someone behind him with a knife, you say, "WATCH OUT, CHECK YOUR SIX!" The guy knifes him, he dies, and THEN he gets the message like 1 second later. Kind of sucks..

VOIP seems a little quicker.

I have a good connection too before anyone says, "oh your connection sucks"...(Comcast Cable, connected at 100Mbps)

Well I use it so I don't have to press a button cause I would forget and you can't crouch and talk.

I use TS when playing with my team but as soon as pubbers join the squad we start using VOIP so that everyone knows what's going on. TS also makes a nice little private line to discuss things with your mates. Image

I don't think we can expect the majority of players to go to the trouble of downloading TS and seting it up when VOIP offers a more convinent option.

As I've said before - I would be happy to join people on TS, but I severly doubt my system would take it, struggles enough with BF2 alone. Maybe that's the case for quite a few other people...

True, and I'm planning on getting a Gig as soon as I've got the money, at the mo' I'm running on 256Mb, and on 20ish player servers, I gotta say it stands up to the task quite well.

A-Levels sort of take over, meaning I'm really too tired to get a job as WELL as full-time education, let's just hope I can stirr up enough cash over christmas.
