Battles

Post by Hitperson »

I have his great idea you have the same levels as you have included but remove the flags and so it is a concouring battle so you spawn where you team is/at the main base and you do not loose tickets due to CPs that are controled tickets are only lost due to loss of life on your team.

so you mean you get like 100 tickets and you have 2 uncappable bases so nobody loses tickets from captured flags? and your tickets only go down if a soldier gets killed? well, it sounds pretty fun actually....

I dont get it. Are we talking deathmatch? First he says "but remove the flags" and then he says "and you do not loose tickets due to CPs that are controled". How can you have CPs if you dont have any flags???

i think he means remove all cappable flags, so you only have 1 flag for each side that is uncappable. since this is balanced you wont have ticket loss. get it now?

The only worry with Deathmatch is that it might turn into a Free-for-All. Since there aren't clear objectives (i.e, CPs), then people are just not going to work as a team. That's debatable, however, but I can imagine it being the case on the majority of servers.

But with the right people it would be a great time.

i think it'd be great though if any vehicles are involved it should be either all tanks or all infantry (possibly sometimes with unarmed transport vehicles to flank or get behind the enemy) tactics would depend on who's playing, the good players would try to surround and destroy their enemy while the poorer players would turn it into a grinding battle. but im still all for it.

I think one of the main problems with this idea is that it relies on so called "Good Players". Good Players being ones who use tactics, and play fairly and as a team. With the world being as big as it is, you can never guarantee that you'll get "Good Players".

Good idea in theory, not as good in practice, but im SURE it could be worked on ;-)

Thanks,

Elliott.

My idea was that you spawn with the troops in the game or at the start point. SOS i have never played a Death Match on BF

umm has anyone ever thought of making a game style of 1 death and that's it? Makes for a more carefull style of gameplay or a quick round.

This has been discussed and a longer spawn time would be more pratical.

You could look for Clans who are based off of those tactics and such. As soon as I get a new computer and get my game back I am going to (hopefully) start a clan based on RL tactics, squads and such. Maybe adding it so you can make a locked clan battle room would be cool? just my opinion.
