You need a healthy dose of my 'Common Basic Mistakes' guide, my friend! See my signature.
two man tanks are ,one, 2 tickets less for your team , and two , very unprecised in teir shoots , coz they need to stop and then aim (since that w dont have a stabilised turret).
i dont know about you guys , but 3 solo tanks can easyly destroy 2 or even 3 twomanned tanks , that work for me at lest
As far as air squads go it depends on their operations.
As far as any kind of jet goes, all fixed wing aircraft should be in a single squad. I've never really seen jets and helis in a squad, I don't think that works too well.
On a map like jabal its helpful to have all your support choppers in one squad, makes for very easy pick ups and drop offs.
but sometimes its even better if 3 squads each have their own chopper bringing them from place to place.

No offense...but i think you never played against an organized armour squad?
At least the guys i know, train very hard so they don`t have to stop in order to shoot. And they are extremely precise...even on targets they can`t see themselves, as they use a spotter.

I like to work in a way where the vehicles are attached to the infantry squad. Or vice versa.
I prefer an infantry squad with anything in contrast to a full squad of something. The only exception is air support IF you have a commander.
Why this? First off, the radio chatter for multiple tanks in one squad is gonna be a *****. Foward! Stop! Wait. Was that my gunner talking to me? Second, having infantry around can give you such better intel, and watch your ***.
You can still coordinate utilizing tanks, you just need SLs or the commander to do the work. Cause in the same fashion, an Inf + Jet/Attack Chopper will have less confusion within the chopper, and precise intel from the rest of the squad. You can have out of squad support, but it's not as quick and easy because you can't voip right through. Unless you have a commander.
Transport choppers however are another story. Sometimes it's nice as hell, other times it's just a waste of a guy. You only really need one or two transport choppers most of the time.

Well most of the time I'll set up an air squad and get someone I trust to be SL. I'll fly and drop the squad off at locations. We're air cavalry basically.
I'm not much of a ground pounder so I can't add much to this.
It's a tough call for tanks. But in the case of APCs, it's almost always best to have attached infantry. Mechanized infantry are so much more effective. Not least because they don't have to run everywhere. A good mech. inf. squad will have two APC operators, an officer (not always necassary if the APC is more conservative in its engagements... in that case, a LAT is useful), a medic, a rifleman, and an engineer.

I was playing Kashan with some guys from TG and we were forced to go from full 3 tank squad to full inf squad back and forth a few times. It worked quite well, we jumped out of our tanks to take south bunker b/c for some reason the rest of our team couldnt do it after we took south bunker we ran back to our tanks and defended SB until a frogfoot wiped us out and we went back to inf for the remainder of the map.

I just cry, when I see on Kashan, that there isnt a decent squad, which would operate 3 tanks, 2 crewman per each.
Either they solo them or leave them at base and rely on air support to stop the enemy armor and two guys with Heavy AT...
