BTW, if some official judge is checking all the candidates or winners out, would this thread help? I'm talking about the part where people say "Start a download and then cancel it." Might not please them.

They can probably find out what website you come from aka this threads link and see it? If so, no one go from this site to a porn site! Eggman is watching!

We're simulating all of the downloads from you guys that didn't download it through their site. ;)

Really anyone who would be voting would logically already have played the mod. Seems a bit foolish to assume that people would download the mods from that site and then vote for them.

I don't know, I think we are at a major diasdvantage here. Other mods are around 10-400mb large, ours is 1.6gb. no one will download the mod just to try it, so we are bound to lose out on downloads. I think thats where the idea could be seen as slightly flawed, but im not going to open my trap!

Well from July 16th on it's just the jury judging which is out of our hands and I think it's not realistic anymore to think that PR won't hit a place in the top ten...

Currently it's at #1 with a score of over 300. #2 is at about 250 and #3 (Which is is the wrong category currently) at about 180... lower parts of top 10 are around 30-40 points....

Voted for PR. I really hope that they take a good look at the newest beta for this contest. 0.6 even in Beta form is a big step up from 0.5 final and it would be a real shame for all your hard work to not be taken into account.

Here is a quote from my reply
The upcoming 0.6 release is bringing about such a shift in what is possible with this genre that it creates a new genre in an of itself; welcome to the PR genre.

I know, cheese  but hey it might grab some more downloads of PR

I have registered and voted for WTF mod as I should ... or not?

Quote from description of WTF mod:
The name WTF mod is not ment to insult anyone in any way, it refers to what my friends reaction was when first playing the mod and what I assume other people's reactio will be
EXACTLY the same applies to PR. I am simply stunned and excited with each new release since 0.4.
...

No a better name which would suit PR would be OMG mod. ;)
-----------

Would it be possible to add links to such contests at the main PR page?
It would be easier to vote each day I think.

Good work all on getting PR this far. Let's hope we can hold our place for the next 7 days - I'm sure we'll finish anywhere in the top 10, but coming first in the preliminary round *would* be nice!

So, if PR gets 3000 US $, can they make a new FPS?

Got my vote.

An engine costs about $1m USD to obtain the license.

And I think we'll have to see who's the perfect pilot ;)

christ, PR is winning by far at the moment.

PR is 1st with 346
Casualty effect is 2nd with 247
Open coop is 3rd with 186

So we're winning by nearly 100 points.

:| With this continued effort, PR should win I hope!

Perfect! The $3000 puts them over the top as they currently have $997,000.01 in the PR bank. Here comes Project Reality as a stand alone game
