Question about ping and blood

Theres no aussie servers so i gotta play with around 300 ping. This is difficult to say the least... n i was wondering when on my screen i see blood, does that mean that a hit has registered on their screen or is it only mine?
Cause ive come across some highly bullshit scenarios where ive pumped 5 rounds into the back of a guy 2m away and he turns around and shoots me once, killing me.

Seeing blood does not mean you hit. It is definitely your ping thats messing you up though, with the new beta the hitbox detection etc has greatly increased...I haven't had one BS moment yet as far as hit detection. Sorry though, hopefully you guys will get some better servers up in your area once the full release is out.

I too play with a ping not far under 300 anything over and Boot.

I believe your shot has to register in the game server before there one does so ping will have an effect.

You will just have to put up with people killing you with there < 70 ping after you have unloaded 9ish odd rounds into there skull at point blank range.
Of coarse you will also have to put up with there boasting about it too.

When the time comes and you play on a local server you will notice the one shot one kill.
In the mean time get recruiting and entice more local nilla players to try out this great mod. I am.

I have that problem as well. the only problem with bigD is that when there is 30+ people on the server is so rear you have to be doing nothing so your ready to play for at least 2 hours to get some entertainment out of it. the rounds also have a time limit so when your having fun on a map it changes as well as the map usually being a 52 size

I'm having real trouble with the bigD servers at the moment, i've been playing there for about 4-3 months with no problems, playing from Korea with a ping of around 160, suddenly my ping to their servers has gone up to 500 and I get kicked every time I try to join.

All my connections to US servers are fine with the same ping I always get, so it's not a problem my end.....

Anyone have any idea why the servers ping has suddenly tripled for me?????

Sorry i was refering to the 0.6 beta, BigD's done me good but its hard to go back to 0.5 after playin 0.6.
BigD is sure to change over with new release i was just curious in the mean time

Lead the target more. Blood is essentially pointless and creates false positives.

Hey I heard that too, the Vietnamese gov't told fishermen it is OK to take the old underwater copper lines and sell them but one of them instead dredged up one of the brand new fiber optic lines and mucked up internet over there. I always thought those tufts of smoke meant you hit body armor? I've knifed guys before only to have that stupid brown dust come out and then they turn me into swiss cheese. Stupid game.

It's great and go there for 05 but 06 is so nice.

So playing full 06 servers futher afield with the high pings warts and all as does Greenie Beanie.
