Dumb? Why the hell would you use a optic sight with no red dot, since the US military doesn't.

POE2 suffers from **** maps , but their stuff is very high quolity

Scopes are cool btw , DICE planned those for M4A1 before they changed it to reddot

IMO there maps are very good, I have been enspirded by even the POE1 maps, and for a direct exsample I got the idea of the shell crators i used in OGT off the map fallen :)

back on topic, the scopes them selfs are normal BF2 scopes, just with a new scope model, nothing big. when we remake out M4s etc we will have scopes like that :)

nice to see they are realisitic thou and aint done what DiCE and INS did and chop off the iron sight in the front of the scope :p

How do you use such a scope anyway? Wouldn't you have trouble aligning the front sight in the right position?

its more of an aimpoint than a scope.

They use "renderer.drawhud 0" to take away the hud when they made the screen, and the red dot dosen't show if you use that.

'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino']IMO there maps are very good
Most of their maps have too much vehicles , just like vanilla BF2 . PR got rid of large numbers of vehicles ( IMO , Kashan Desert is step back ) , focusing on infantry combat which makes the game much more playeble because you actually can kill about 80% of enemy with your small arms . In POE 2 you're either in air vehicles or you end up with KDR below 0.5 ( mostly ) with exception for armour whores who get like 1.5-2 compared to 5-10 of flyboys one .

Maps themself aren't that bad , but they have too much vehicles in them with so little spawn timers .

POE has always had a lot of vehicles. But their vehicles are always top notch, so I don't mind seeing them so often :] I do agree that some of the POE2 maps are bad though, POE1 had it down (aside from Wadi Halfa... what a horrid little place).

The POE M4 with the M2 Aimpoint looks very well done. I hope with the release of .7 we'll see the same thing or possibly even better for both the M16's and M4's in PR.

Because scopes have been a somewhat controversial subject in PR and I thought it would be nice to see what the competition (if u want to call poe that) is up to on the same subject. And IMO those are decent scopes which, as I believe someone stated earlier, probably do have red dots just they were removed with the hud for the ss.

POE is fine.
Stuff looks nice and it's new maps.
It is vanilla gameplay but so what ?
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

The vanilla gameplay is what kills my interest completely in all the cool new stuff it has to offer...

I think it depends on the server. I try to play on the TG server as much as I can, because they actually play, well, tactically. The gameplay is actually very fun when you get a good squad that knows how to tackle objectives one at a time, knows when to retreat and regroup, etc.

And then there are the servers filled by bunny hoppers and those annoying guys who run out in front of you with an MG36, immediately dive at your face spraying lead, and all their bullets seem to go exactly where they are aiming, nevermind the fact that their gun is flying all over the place.

Even vanilla could be a good gameplay experience if people didn't play for themselves.

that dose not mean there maps are **** thou. That simpley is you just do not like the gameplay of there mods, and you are for some reason blaming thair maps? there map quility is really good, and there gameplay is what they want it to be, combeind arms, arcady style. what you like is infantry combat, with a little combined arms from the sound of it. We are moving more and more into combeined arms as time goes on, thou the small infantry maps, with a little bit of combined arms will still stick around.

its kinda pointless saying there maps are **** cos you dont like the gameplay.

....
But not for urban combat, so after many tank-and airwars I come to PR for infantry war, maybe im not alone doing that way.
