think if all ammo types in PR had specific and class-unike sounds.. that would be something..

It was sarcasm.
Remember that these recordings were made 1100 yards downrange, and so significant velocity will have been lost.
Nevertheless, in the last sample on that page ( TCW5561100ydsT214640+4642 Russian 56gr. FMJ-BT without a cannelure
you can clearly hear the supersonic crack followed by the sound of the bullet fading as it flies away.
