Before I start, I'm reasonably sure there's nothing you can do, but whatever.
My dream? Company wide radio nets for Squad Leaders, on the same "frequency" as the Commander. I mean, as it stands now, communication between squads is limited at best. If you have an inept commander or you just want to coordinate with that squad ahead of you or advise the chopper pilot that his landing zone is hot, you have to type it out.
That's a loss of time, and there's no guarantee that anyone will ever read it.
Anyway, I doubt there's much you guys can do, but if not, maybe someone will pass this along to the right people at EA.

Although I quite like teamspeak and used it frequently with my old clan...
It does seem a tad unfair for servers to force people to install 3rd-party software in order to use a particular server- regardless of whether or not it's in the interests of tactical/team play.
It's been previously discussed I believe anyhoo, and I think it's hardcoded. Regardless, if commanders are doing their job properly they should be communicating in such a way that squad leaders get important messages relayed through to each other.
Failing that, taking 5-10s to type a quick message is usually possible.

i like this idea, whenever i need to communicate with another squad(via Voip) i need to type it out, or ask commander, and commanders usually dont know they should have voip to be a commander
so i ask the commander to tell them "take up from left flank, we'll take right"for example, the commander doesnt have Voip!!! then we are s.... doomed. i agree with this idea
