Mobile AA

How far is mobile AA supposed to be able to lock on to a target? SL and i were doing some testing on Daqiing Oilfield (v0.607 rc1) and at 500 m in the air in the chopper you can still get the AA alarm in the chopper but the Mobile AA does not show it is locked on. I told my SL to shoot when i was hearing the AA alarm in the chopper and even though he had no lock in the Mobile AA it still locked on me and shot me down.

Is this a bug and im in the wrong section or is this just how it is. Move me if this is a bug.
