Don't trust in torrents ? :|
It's as silly as if I said "The internet ? I don't beleive in it !"

As long as the source of the torrent file is trustworthy (in this cas the PR devs, and you have the M5 checksum), there is no difference between getting the Install Exe via torrent or an http server !!

oh well... that's fine for who knows where you download your torrents, but for a torrent created by us, hosted by us and with a single exe file in it, you shouldn't be afraid ;)

Some direct link mirrors will be up tomorrow.

They're a lot safer than direct links. And on top of that, you're a lot less likely to get a corrupted download.

Direct links will be coming soon with the full release announcement.

I don't see what your got to worry about. If your downloading a torrent from a trusted source then you have nothing to worry about.

If the devs post a torrent then I am 100% shore it's safe.

QFT.., its all about trusted sources, ppl cant mess with the file once they have downloaded it to upload again to you.., the hash would be different.

IMHO Torrents from trusted sources are THE best way to download anything.

Flashpoint has a weeks worth of out the box gameplay, after that it's boring. "

I can understand that you will have your reasons for not trusting torrents. They are, lets face it, mainly used to share illegal software. However, I think this may be out of a bad experience from a seriously dodgy site or just a plain misinformed opinion of how torrents are seen and used.

Look at it this way. WHY would we put up a torrent to our latest release that may be dodgy or contains a virus?? That'd be the quickest way to get rid of 80% of playerbase, wouldn't it?

Now, either download the torrent and play 0.6 in a few hours, or patiently wait for the direct download links to appear sometime over the next 24 hours :) Simple.
