0.6 ... whats new compared to the BETA ?

ok ... so i know Eggman will probably do his thing and post the details later, but i'm english, and i'm Impatient and sat at work not able to play ...

is there much of a difference between the 607 beta, and 0.6 ?

and Congrats you Devs for all your Hard work, Very much looking forward to Playing the final copy of 0.6 - beta = Some very, Very good times and i think its only going to get better.

Keep up the Dedication and Hard work !

heres to version 1.0 !!!! ( i cant imagine how good that'll be ! )

I cant tell you because I'm at work...

When you download v0.609 it comes with nice looking adobe instructions, but its not real specific, regarding the exact change log, from what I recall reading last night right before I crashed. I'm sure eggman or Rhino will give us an update as soon as they get to it... I can only imagine they have been very busy in the last 48 hours ;)

All the kits loadouts and physics are the same as the beta. There are some differences though:


The difference:
  • Most maps have been re-included.
  • Out-of-bounds areas have been altered to allow a much larger play area.
  • Airfields now have an airfield bunker (looks like a commander bunker) that can be destroyed, and if so, are unable to request pilot kits until it's rebuilt.
  • Vehicle placement has been slightly altered on some maps. For example, on Kashan Desert, the armor has been moved inside the airfield walls instead of spawning on the outside and there are two frogfoots/A10's on each team instead of one.
  • Vehicles added to some maps that did not previously have them. For example, Operation Ghost Train now has an APC on each team.
  • Commander bunker asset fixed to allow spawning on it (previously gave you a spawn marker but couldn't spawn on it).
  • Eggman's blood pressure slightly higher; hair thinning a bit more.

Did they put back the normal sprint speed?? And when you sprint now, or someone else, they do the normal animation, not that tactical look anymore. I liked the beta way.

Run speed is still slow (woo hoo), but looks like an animation was added. Looks good.
