Got the SVD done also, check first post.

EDIT: Im on a roll :P I think I will do the AK47 and the PKM next =D

Nice.

By the way, what ever happened to Maistros's reskins? IIRC he re-did all the weapons and vehicles together with buildings... I hope they're not lost...?

yeah so the rest of them turned out pretty good like the PKM but you dont even see half of the wood on the PKM :P So im gonna just upload the SVD and G3 :P Which I will do soon.

I really like the SVD, make the scope parts black/grey then its perfect! :lol:

I didn't make the scope silver, but I included the wood SVD and the wooden G3A3.

Actually not. There isn't a mecrif_g3a3 anywhere in Objects_client. There is, however, a usrif_g3a3 but there's no body_c.dds.

Anyway I'll replace some files here and see what happens. Thanks.

Ok, here what happened:

There are no textures files for the G3 in the Objects_client of PR, but in vBF2 there are. So I went there and there are these files:

usrif_a3g3_c.dds
usrif_a3g3_b.dds

Then I replaced the "_c" one with your new texture and I went to the game and the G3 was messed up, with textures placed wrong. So I went back, restored and replaced the "_b"... but nothing really happened. The G3 stood with that black and dark-green colors it originally has.

So I'm out of options. Can anyone help me?

mecrif_G3iron is whats it called and what it says in the readme :p

But there isn't such a thing as "mecrif_G3iron" in the Objects_client on .5. I didn't spell it right because I was to lazy to open the readme and see the exact name.

You never mentioned anything about .5 =P These are for .6 seeing as the G3A3 I recoloured is a .6 asset :P Thats your problem right there.

They look great Desert Fox.
What I ended up doing is just put them in the zip folder that Rambo hunter made, I set it up like he had his.
They work fine, and its quicker then doing it the other way.
Plus his client file edit takes care of everything else.


I have not had any problems with PB whatsoever, they work flawless :-) .
