Night Vision

Post by Bodybag2224 »

After playing .6, and playing one map that required you to use NVG, I had some serious issues. First off can the natural light (or lack of) be increased, or the NV be increased. As of right now it is very very very dark and just very dark with NV equipped. Secondly, when someone used smoke it showed up brighter then the environment, which I thought was wierd. I could clearly see it with or without NV and kinda defeats the cloaking process, since you will know that something is going on. So could smoke on that map be darkened to be harder to see. Just some thoughts, and thanks for .6, very fun to play and I don't know how you guys manage to make things better and better.

i dunno...some things you can see a lot differently in RL with NVG.
like IR search lights.

ooh, speaking of which, USMC should get those IR friend identifiers!
But I think those are only army right now.

If you'd read the BETA section for Bi Ming you'd know it's to avoid people upping their Gamma.

The smoke might just be a BF2 thing.

which would suck if you just had a really really dark screen...you couldn't play the map at all.

How about increasing your Gamma/Brightness/Contrast?
