Connection Issues

I looked about for the best place on the forums to place this and i figured here would be fine.
I am running on a wireless internet, but I have a Lynksys game adapter to receive the signal. I usually ping anywhere between 40 and 120 when playing on any given PR server. For some reason tho, I seem to frequently lose my connection entirely and get booted back to the PR menu. Does anyone know any tricks to solve this problem?? please help me out here, either with a PM to my account or a response here. Thanks PR community and/or devs for helping me out here.

Some server kick for high ping. Do you know on which server you were when this happened?

the same thing happens to me, i have just loaded the map i click join then after a min it quits back to the menu with a "connection to server has been lost" message

When playing on WLAN, the ping is not your problem. The packets lost mid-air is. Buy a really long chord an feel the difference.

my problem generally seems to be had on the Tactical Gamer server... to be honest, the only server that really seems to be able to keep me on is Thors Brigade, but even that one loses me after like 25 minutes.
i really hope the problem is losing the packets in mid-air with the wireless internet. ill keep trying to play and not lose connection as best i can until someone might have a suggestion. thanks for your help!

I was getting shocking connection problems last night, ran PBupdate and low and behold pubkbuster needed to be updated, problem solved (for me anyways!)

Thank god I´m not the only one. I am running wireless internet too, and I am having this problem more and more. It hasn´t happened in other mods, nor in vBF2. And it seems to happen more on some servers than others. I will try updating punkbuster. It seems earlier today everyone got disconnected from tacticalgamer server. Second time for me today on that server.

Make sure you don't have any old versions of PR, or PR betas installed AT ALL. Then update your router's firmware and do any recommended tuning from your ISP. I used to get this problem on TG but now I dont.
