Yeah, it works too. So I'm sure they'll get rid. They don't like forign designed stuff being better than their own stuff (US Gov). They even have laws that prohibit the importing of foreign hardware. Everything has to be produced on US soil.

Your government didn't! Haha sorry. I'm just sick of all these damn project they waste YOUR money on then cancel them when they're ready to enter service, yet things like the Stryker manage to go into service dispite it being a pile of complete and utter shizzle. Oh and that law actually exists if that's what you meant.

id say there pretty good choices....

however i wouldnt typecast them into the role of pickup kits

people forget one of the goals for PR is to have maps that are unit specific

so that each map the kits are layed out in a way to give the best possible tools for that map/unit/mission

I care because I have compassion and humanity. People are dying because their government isn't willing to shell out a little extra money to give them good equipment that is proven to work, yet it is willing to spend on something that is nothing more than an expensive coffin on wheels. Anyway sorry for going off topic.

Mad Max, you have no argument here. But the Mk 16 an 17 have aleady been accepted. they entered into the LRIP (Low Rate Initial Production) phase a short time ago. The only improvements I see that need to be made are a thickened barrel and a change in caliber to 6.8mm SPC using a more powerful propellant.

The AT-4/M136 and Predator MPIM/SRAW Mk 40 are both single-use disposable weapons and will not be in pick-up kits since they are not viable as primary weapons. The AT-4/M146, SMAW-D and other light, single-use disposable anti-armor or HEDP rocket launchers will be included as ancillary items within rifleman or other core kits. I.e., a rifleman kit may include (by selection or randomization) a couple of directional APERS mines, a single-shot disposable rocket launcher or another item.

The MG-42 uses a cartridge that is no longer in production, AFAIK. Even for irregular forces, that does not make much logistical sense. The H&K MG3 is based on the MG42 but uses the 7.62mm NATO round. Is that what you were referring to?

Most states don't have any real incentive as of yet to purchase the RPG-29 launchers, as they can get the same capability with improved warheads for the RPG-7 launchers (and licensed derivatives) they already have in their inventories.

At least one SCAR variant is in the SF expansion pack already, but we might not include it in PR, even if it has gone into low-rate initial production.

We need the Mk 19 40mm grenade launcher on hummers and jeeps. Awesome anti-armor weapon. or how about a tow on a hummer like we have in the actual military.

I read somewhere that insurgents in Iraq use alot of akward weapons such as the PPSh, Kar98k, and MG42
