Unable to Resupply at Rally Pt?

I can't get more ammo from a rally pt. I tried it several times with AT, sniper ammo and smoke nades. I could never get anything from them...is this a bug or how its supposed to be. In 607 we could resupply at rallys.

Since you can now resupply at almost any vehicles, I'd say that not being able to resupply at rally points and only request kits is nice (accidental) touch.

Yeah .. a bug... there's a setting in BF2 to make things "infinite" and we tried it, but it didn't work... so when we changed back to a different method I missed fixing it with the rally points.

It's a pretty bad bug given the other changes to ammo supply, but we're looking to collect the major issues and bugs and evaluate what we do about an 061 patch.

Ah it's true that on a map without (or with few) vehicles, it's a serious issue. Although it felt somewhat well balanced anyway.

yeah there's lots of places to resupply, but it's the most accessible to squads, so .. along with whatever comes up .. we'll evaluate a patch.

also is it coded that a ammo pack needs more re-supply points than the amount of points issued in an ammo pack ?

A RP is your backpack, a place for your extra stuff when your go from Moving to Combat, like water, extra stuff, Ammo.

yeah, 5.56mm/7.62mm ammo, grenades, maybe some C4 a L.A.W or 2, but no stockpiles of Heavy AT missiles, Stingers etc such a shame the engine cant be coded to allow that type of limited re-supply
