And could you be so kind as to read the explanations they have already posted in this very same thread before posting.2481 wrote:And could the Devs be so kind as to explain why the Apache was removed from PR?

[R-DEV]Rhino, post #3 of this thread. This post clearly say this it was an accident, hinting that it was removed unintentionally.
Sorry, 2481, didn't mean to sound rude. I just found it funny that the fact it was accidental and that it was not "removed" was stated 3 posts down in the thread. You probably just missed it.

There is one possible explanation.
The ground in game below the Apache had problems during the finalization. So, instantly as the game is preparing to start and all the vehicles spawn, the Apaches fall through the 'hole' and forever fall unendingly in the abyss that is below BF2's ground level.
Since they didn't have much problems during the finalization, this only apparently happens to vehicles. The players still stand on the ground where the Apache once sat before falling through. It's a BF2 engine glitch conspiracy!

I'm amazed at the number of new players interested in the aircraft. Don't they know they're a smaller target on the ground?

They also know, that they are infact a larger target, but a tough, mass killing machine as well. But that machine is no match for my RPG skills.Expendable Grunt wrote:I'm amazed at the number of new players interested in the aircraft. Don't they know they're a smaller target on the ground?

Don't
Also don't judge people on here as new to PR due to their rank on the forum.I've been playing PR since the beginning of V0.5,but I joined forum couple months back...And also,as for the Brits. not using the Littlebird, have you ever heard of caolition forces? The U.S. and U.K. team up all the time.So it is possible for the littlebird to be in the new Basrah,as indicating the U.S. is giving some small airsupport.

LOL!
Yes! That is quite funny to watch, the noobs complain about how they think the merlin has a take off bug, then i say you have to let the engine get warmed up,and they say "WTF?" lol.Same thing happened a lot with littlebird in v0.5. I haven't had the joy of seeing a noobie think the Warrior is ampibious and drive it into the water yet,but hopefully will soon.
