What happened to these 2 maps? especially ishital forest (apologies for spelling) I love that map it is one of the best eye candy maps in the mod :!:

please tell me someone just forgot to add it back in and there will be an incremental patch shortly to fix the error

Airport don't fit new 0.609 gameplay .
Though i thought Inishail stays... cool map , I had a lot of fun playing it .

both have been cut and will not likely be coming back...although a community revival map pack or something would be cool...problem is the time required toupdate all these old boys to the current game setting..

gutted mate to be honest Inishail was a really good map, it lookk great and played better, i could think of a few maps i would have cut before that one.

Oh well your mod i guess, keep up the good work boys

Just curious... what is it about these maps that made them not fit the new gameplay? Is it the commander assets making positions too easy to defend?

View distances and accuracy were dramatically increased.. Makes existing maps seem MUCH smaller and tends to create frag fests and/or forces are pushed back quickly and degrades into basecamping. Not fun for the receiving end.

Yeah. Some of the smaller maps just don't fit well... I think we'll evaluate how they might fit into a Community mod project or the like .. assuming there is some time commitment from mappers to give the maps some tweaks and overhauling.

To be honest , I've never played it because half of time I joined 0.5 server it was Al Basrah ...

It was one map where it was just infantry and teamwork was the only way to win it, everytime I played it always could find a squad working together.
