Many thanks for implementing this excellent idea. I suspect it'll work right up until you get so many forum members subscribed that your server is filled by forum members 24/7, after which even those with reservations won't be able to get in lol.

I was thinking the same thing.. then I read another post about requiring people to take a "test" before being allowed as a squad leader or commander... seemed like an absurd suggestion then I thought....

Hey, why not grant reserved slots only to those who pass a pm'd PR teamwork/knowledge aptitude test. Nothing lengthy; just enough to show that you understand how the game works, and the value of teamwork.

That way the server gives preferred treatment to the highest quality players, not just those with the largest wallets (tg) or who toss their name on a forum.

Well it's your server so run with it how you will. If you want to go ahead, you've got 30 peeps or so to start PMSGing so I'd get cracking hehe.

For the record, sounds like a good idea to me- if you had maybe two/three questions, you could ask two based on random stuff and one from the quick-start guide that comes with the 0.6 install to show you've read it - (i.e.: What's does the guide say about spawn points?" etc.

You'd only need maybe 5 of each, then mix-and match together a few for each person.
