The reason I haven't fully advertised the server, yet, is because we still need to add more admins and tune some things here and there.

Any feedback is of course desired. I'll try to figure out the VoIP issues, BF2 can be finicky about that.

hoping we can have a DEV team VS all comers at some point...that would include our r-con r-pubs etc...

see if we can whoop you boys...

just give magic fritz sometime to get it running smoothly

I had a quite a bit of fun on there last night. Didn´t have one connection problem suprisingly, I usually do, mostly in the tactical gamer server, but I was fine in this one. Shame voip wasn´t working, and I didn´t realise it, so I was flying around in my chopper and stuff saying things thinking I was the only one with a mic and that people could here me!
-"Tell me if you want to get out of the chopper"
-*silence*
-*continues flying around evading someone with an RPG for practise, and then gets shot down*
-"sorry guys"
-*silence*

Anyway, it is nice to have a server without all the newbies in it, however "innocent" they are, it can get a bit annoying sometimes.

Thanks to Nolimitsoldier! :-)

I would be glad to join in on any games, but I am not great.

So far everytime i'm on its empty, shame was hoping it would be used more.

As for the VOIP not working, some one just tell me what to troubleshoot and i will resolve it if its a firewall issue.

basically we have to
-fix the voip issue (which fritz says he has some ideas about)(nat firewall?)
-take off the password
-register a few more server admin...so far Fuzz and I only i think..

I'll take the password off as soon as I get those issues worked out. Had my hands full with real-life stuff this weekend, though, and am in a different city on business travel now/tomorrow.

Sorry :)

For the VoIP, I'll need to prolly get testing with you to sniff out where the packets get lost.

To allay concerns about european pings to the new server:

I'm a Brit and I get about 110-115 to it; immensely playable.

Yes, I am here in Spain with a 512kbit connection and my ping is around 160 or so. Fine for me. :D

Back in town. Will need to get NoLimitSoldier online and somebody else testing with VoIP while he's checking the PIX :)
