People&VOIP

Post by LekyIRL »

Okay,I know I've been asking alot of questions and people are probably getting annoyed but this should be my last question...

I've never used VOIP before and I'd just like to know what people are like on VOIP?
I'm 14,so (I reckon) an easy target for insults :-(
I don't mind a friendly insult/joke but not:
WTF?!?!!?NooB!!!! Stupid 10 year old kid!!!

So,VOIP,what's it like?

Don't worry about it man, there's plenty of other people that are younger than you that I've played with that are actually quite cool.

It's just conversation with other people, albeit some with orders. I'm only 16 myself so once you get the hang of it you'll be fine.

^ what he said iam 15 and in command of a clan! just keep ur cool under fire and take it easy. If u get in a fun squad and stuff u can do alot. And its alot better for action. No need to type. GET IT!

LOL
it's hard to use age to bash when at least half the kids are quicker than you !
Just get on and talk.
I would say if you have a squeaky voice try not to yell so much as that hurts old people's ears and makes the dogs in the neighborhood start to howl.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

Dont worry man, I'm 20 and I'm friendly to everyone. Its just a game, I dont care how old you are as long as your not being a dumbass.

From my experience usualy everyone is really easy going.

VOIP makes a squad so much more effective. That's reason enough for me to use it.

Wow, that actually stung Outlawz. LOL
(guilty as charged)

But if you can, try playing PR with VOIP once. If somebody acts like smacktard, just leave the squad and find another.

Personally, I don't care what people sound like as long as they're not raping my ears, and do their jobs.

Also, don't talk TOO much, especially when in a squad with me, because I already talk too much.

If your a squad leader and you sound squeeky (which you will) people wont take you seriously. As long as you keep calm, keep swearing to a minimum, don't over react people may accept you. If I hear a 14 yr old in my squad, they get insta kicked because I know they will cause problems (in my many years of gaming, I believe this is mostly true).

I'd rather have the slot open for a mature open minded person who will not constantly give random suggestions and tell me what to do when I'm leading.

I had some 'OMGer' in my squad, but he left after I did NOT order my squad to do, what he stated with 'OMG'..he left the squad by himself and OMG'd onwards on team chat...

I couldnt even explain to the rest of the squad, what we were trying to do, becuase he continuesly squeaked 'OMG this, OMG that'
