Are you thinking about the haze a jet exhuast creates when it releases gases?

watch some clips from pushing tin or the real life clip of a jumbo jet on some Caribean island throttling up and knocking people off the beach and into the sea.
If it could be done it would be great.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

I can see it now, flyboys landing at enemy airfields and then burning all of the enemy soldiers by throttling up and taking off.

Jet engines put out a lot of heat and thrust even when throttled down but I think I misunderstood.
You just want the smoke not the heat ..... is that correct ?

I don't know if modern Turbojets actually leave much of an exhaust trail? I've seen lots flying around and never seen one leave a trail. If it were added you could do it by making it always leave the light damage smoke effect active, which looks like a nice smoke trail.

I can see that being abused to hell. Jets would just swoop over back and forth, repeatedly knocking helpless soldiers down over and over.

Geez, and who can land in front of a squad, turn the jet around and blast them away with his engine?
Get real...
I'd like to see that, becuase its ridiculus, when you can stand 2 m away from the engine and not get affected by it...

ON TOPIC i said that is not.

geez right who would be interested in seeing smoke trails (exhaust) from jets and when you get damaged the intensity increases (possibly with burning or flames coming from the engine(s))
