i dont believe he is talking about dialect, he is talking about tone. but i mean, do black people sound different from white people in terms of tone? i dont think they do, but that would be a little less inflammatory that suggesting the dialect should be changed to ebonics. suggesting that the black dude should say "can we get some motha f*ckin supplies up in this b*tch!? SH*T!" would be pretty absurd.

There are also black people in the military who immigrated here from Africa and the Caribean so there is no " black " voice in reality.
Tone ..... tone means happy angry sad sarcastic .... it has nothing to do with skin color.

Dialect is the product of cultural upbringing, not the color of your skin. I suppose that when a black solder drives the humvee the radio should play rap?
