I usually have a squad named "VOIP ONLY". You are welcome as long as you have some degree of normal social skills and a urge to do some teamwork.

If you are 13 or 70 doesn't matter as long as you make an effort for the team.

Btw, some of meanest soldiers in the world today are only 13 and carry AK and RPG's... not thats positive in anyway, though..And before anyone flames me.. I said meanest, not the most skilled...

There's a difference between a spoilt brat, and a guerilla fighter who's been forced to fight.

You'd better not otherwise you'll be busted down to private

Don't worry mate; just get in a VOIP squad, do your best, follow orders and make sure that what you say is relevant and to the point.

And above all, enjoy yourself: it's only a game.

A deadly serious game.

Are you saying I'm a spoilt brat or kids in general?

In all honesty, most 14 year olds I've played with tend to scream on the mic and think the game revolves around them. Something along the lines of "OMG I'M GETTING SHOT! WHAT THE FUCK HELP! WHY AREN'T YOU HELPING MEEEEE?!?!" Also they always want to play sniper because it's "cool" and not help out the squad. Your mileage may vary.

well I definatly won't be like this guy:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qvP9GrjdKw

Edit: Also I won't go all lone wolf, sniper etc. I (honestly) want to play as a team...which is really why I asked about VOIP....

One thing I hate is when some people say "Medic!" like every five seconds... I remember back playing a round of PR on a desert map and our squad was moving out on open desert and an enemy tank starts firing his machine gun at us and one squad member gets critically wounded. He then starts saying on his microphone "Medic", then a second time "Medic!" then a last time "MEDIC!!" I mean really, why would a medic revive you out on open desert when the enemy tank is clearly firing at us. Do you really want to get revived only for the medic and you to both get critcally wounded?

Lol - made me laugh that did.

Much the same as the ther replies here - no problems with "young 'uns" joining our VOIP. Had some guys on tonight who certainly sounded 'teen' but they played a fantastic round as squad members, with excellent tactical awareness. Impressive.

Just be aware that older people can't hear higher frequencies. So if you talk and nobody replies, you're not being ignored. We just can't hear you! :p

Haha, I have a friend who is just like that.
Playing Kashan with him and I said I was going to grab a tank.

Basically I am all the way across the map with a tank and get railed by an A-10.

After I told him that I got the tank, I got to listen to him for 10-15 heroing minutes, as he screams at me with a higher-than-normal-pitched-voice.

"TZ! OMG Where is my tank support!"

"TZ! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU!?"

"TZ! Blah blah blah!"

He just kept talking until finally he got quite for a while, and said. "I'm dead."

I'm quite the opposite of that, personally. I'm the grumpy medic. Although I'm almost always a medic, and enjoy the role, whenever there are multiple casualties and people calling for a medic, I make comments such as "Medic, medic, medic.... sheesh, I'm popular today," or "Yeah, yeah, I know, medic. I gotta open a hospital or something."

Frankly, I think it annoys my teammates.
