can this be done where if you do to many teamkills or go out of bounds to long where you defect form your army but don't go to the enemy team. so you all on your own with one life thats it and your an enemy to all players.

Huh? So once you get a lot of teamkills/go out of bounds, you can't join any squad and you only get one life? Once you die, then what?ExOps_Mercenary wrote:can this be done where if you do to many teamkills or go out of bounds to long where you defect form your army but don't go to the enemy team. so you all on your own with one life thats it and your an enemy to all players.

It's a cute idea but not worth the time and ripe for abuse.
Then people wearing your uniform are the enemy but you don't know unless you carefully check the map.
This seems tailor made for the CS kiddie crowd to cause havoc.

Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

No it wouldn't. Have you *been* on a server where punishing is enabled recently?Jonny wrote:If it was implimented using numbr of punished TKs it would work better though.
-You throw a grenade at a room filled with enemies, your squadmate rushes in and dives onto the grenade, you TK him, he punishes.
-You get into a tank, your two squadmates also get in, a fourth guy who wanted the vehicle jumps on top and tries to get in, you ask him to get off, he doesn't, you roll away, you TK him, he punishes.
-You're driving an APC, people spawn on you, they ask you to stop, you stop, you're on a hill and the APC rolls backwards, you TK them, they punish you.
-You're flying a blackhawk, someone requests a lift from a tight LZ, you fly in, they run into the middle of the zone, you land on them, you TK them, they punish you.
-You're flying the flying pig, the back is filled with your squadmates, you fly into the LZ, you flare slightly before you land, everyone thinks you're just going to stay 5ft up and bails out right underneath your landing helo, you TK them, they all punish. (Of course, if you don't actually land to avoid this they refuse to get out until your wheels are firmly down, at which point they then run in front of the helo as you take off, you TK them, they punish you).
-You place a delicious minefield at a vital strategic location, you warn your team about it, some plonker drives right through it, they die, they punish you.
Now, if you can find a way to ONLY allow people to punish a TK when it's an intended, deliberate action, then I'll hold that it's a good idea.
Until then, implementing ANY form of gameplay-related action via the TK-punish system is going to be open to massive abuse and griefing as accidents are met with ridiculous actions in revenge.
