I want a palace../Claymores/Grenades

Post by Waaah_Wah »

1) I would really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really like to see a palace or another large building like the one on the SF map "Warlord". Coz then you could use some room clearing tactics, etc, etc. I saw the "Enterable mosque tread", but arent mosques just a really big and hollow buildings with just one room? Dont get me wrong, i would love to see one of those but it wouldn't be alot of fighting inside a mosque would it?

2) Did you guys remove claymores from PR? If yes, WHY?! I was really awesome to use the riffleman antipers kit and lay some clays next to a road and ambush bypassing cars.

3) Aren't nades supposed to kill everyone in a 15-20 meters radius in real life? I know that this would be a little nasty in PR but i still think that nades in PR should have a kill radius of like 10 meters.

1. I want a mansion near the river north of Al Basrah, but it aint happening.

You'll have to ask the DEVs if they are able to use SF statics.

2. Claymore's where removed. (They also pose a danger to friendlies and can exploited).

3. Gameplay Issues. People will start whining because they can't get away, and new threads containing "Kikcing grenades" and "gRenAde kIckin" will appear.

Is that palace on Al Basrah made from scratch or is that the Special Forces one?

I love clearing the bunkers on Kashan so I'm sure I'd like a palace. I would like claymore's added back to the mod as part of the engineer kit. With the sandbags, bunkers, and barbed wire in the game, claymores would add another element to a defensive stronghold. Maybe claymores could be a commander asset set up by engineers if the DEVS do not want claymores everywhere. I'd love to defend a bunker on Kashan. The enemy flash bangs and charges down the stairs as I detonate my claymore and send them straight to respawn hell. :-)

I agree that the Claymores that were in .5 should return as the pace of battle has slowed to the point where they would be useful.
If you don't know, these were command detonated devices so the nilla problems of friendly fire do not apply.
I rarely saw the used in .5 but I really think that the defensive nature of many of the battles now would favor their usage.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

nice!

As for the claymores, I kinda liked them. Pretty good for defence and sometimes even ambushes. I wouldn't mind them coming back in 0.7.

The claymores were remotely detonated and almost no one was using them so i dont see the problem with TKing.. But i large building with alot of rooms would be awesome.

Btw can those guys who voted No or NOOO!!! plz tell me why not? :-P

I dont play SF that much :) The only maps i like on SF are Warlord and Iron Gator. (Yes i love places with alot of rooms :P )

I absolutely love the fighting in the palace on Warlord. A few thigs is more fun than playining with a friend(s) and spawn as support/assault and then just throw alot of gass/flashbangs in a room before we go in. Works every time :)

Fighting an entire round within a multi-story building would be huge fun.

Best players come from SF.
BF2 guys are mostly lamers because they only know how to spawnkill.
So in other situation like in PR they need a hand that help and lead them.

Perhaps replace the SF kit with a recon kit, which has a single/2 clays for ambush purposes?

Make SF a limited kit if it has to stay but make it great for asset destruction e.g. many SLAMs or C4, some med kits to simulate extra training/increased independence.

Just limit it to 2 kits per team like Marksman&Sniper
Then you can give him 3 field dressings and SOFLAM for lone wolfing purposes.
