Hello,
There is something that has been bugging me a bit in BF2, which is not being able to see how many players are using a certain kit.
This was useful in BF1942, since I would be able to see which class our team needed the most. If there were few ATs I would spawn AT. If there were few medics I would spawn medic and so on.
This isn't much of a problem in PR since we only have 4 classes to choose from at the start, but still I think it would be useful. I wonder how hard, or if it's even possible, for the class selection screen to show you the number of active players using a certain class in each class selection button.
If that's not possible, then how about when you click each class the game sends you a message, just like the QM messages, saying how many players are using that class?
Information on the number of active kits

Yeah that also. I usually used the scoreboard on BF2v since each class had it's own distinctive icon. It would also be a good idea to add new class icons to PR, if none of my first suggestions are possible.Skullening.Chris wrote:Yeah, it's kinda confusing, especially with many of the requested kits using the same icon as some of the four basic ones.

The basic needs of the squad, between Rifleman, Corpsman or Engineer should be clear from the icons (you only have three choices!), and after you spawn in, you can just ask your SL or your commander about limited kits based on the squad's role.
With the limited kits, this SHOULDN'T be perfectly clear, so you can capture the enemy's limited kits without the whole opposing team immediately knowing.

Right now, you can't tell if your team has AA, AT or HAT kits in use - you can only tell that some of these kits are being used, but you don't know which one. Yes, you could try asking, but chances are, you won't get any response.nidpants wrote:The basic needs of the squad, between Rifleman, Corpsman or Engineer should be clear from the icons (you only have three choices!), and after you spawn in, you can just ask your SL or your commander about limited kits based on the squad's role.
